If got any suggestions, I'd like you to write them down in the comments & if I've read it, I'll probably do it. Jen's choice was obviously "Twilight". I have read that book & I have also grilled steaks with that book; only one of those activities was satisfying.

No, I mean, the first half is literally a cosmic nothing, every time I began a chapter I started nodding off.
And then at some point the protagonist has sex with Death. Out of nowhere, completely nonsensical. I wish I was joking. 
I just watched a video of someone suffering through "From Blood & Ash" so, ass pull plot twists are nothing new to me. If anything, they make me feel so much better about my own writing.
